Myeik with Beautiful Island

Detailed Program

Day 1: Myeik  (-,L,D)

Arrival in Myeik and transfer to your hotel. Start sightseeing to Shwe Thar Lyaung Pagoda on Pa Htet Island. Then enjoy your lunch at local restaurant (Shwe Hnin Si or Aqua World Restaurant). After lunch, head to natural Bird’s Net House and Paw Taw Mu Pagoda which was situated about over (2500) years ago. Due to the King Alaungmintayar was reformed in Myanmar year (1093). And go to Thein Daw Gyi Pagoda was situated over (280) years since Myanmar year (1093). We can play the historical Thailand pagoda, Buddha culture museum, Buddha Library and preach abode. From there, we will visit to see and enjoy local life and you could buy souvenirs at city centre.

Transfer back to your hotel for a short rest. And Enjoy sunset at Strand Road.

Dinner will be served at local restaurant and you can taste fresh seafood.

Overnight in Myeik

Day 2: Smart Island – Nyaung Mai Village – Don Waterfall  (B,L,D)

Enjoy delicious Breakfast at your hotel. At 07:00 am, our guide will meet you at Hotel lobby and begins you amazing day 2 in Myeik by a boat trip to Smart Island for swimming and snorkeling in pristine waters. The shapes of the island with one long beach and three smaller one is one of its kind. The long and the small beaches are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Enjoy you afternoon relaxing, swimming, playing, sunbathing and whatever else you would like to do.

Then, we arrive to Nyaung Mai Village. The fishermen share the place with sea gypsies, which are called Moken in the local language. Their lifestyle reminds us of a simpler time before bank accounts and life insurance. Many spend their life permanently at sea during the dry season, only seeking the shelter of land when the heavy rains come. We will have seafood and vegetarian lunch in the authentic village.

After lunch, we will visit to Dome Waterfall, which cascades down from high above right into the ocean. You are able to climb up and a have a refreshing bath. Please be careful walking around on the slippery rocks and respect the fishing boat, which might refill their fresh water supplies.

Overnight in Myeik

Day 3: Lay-Kyun Island – Thameehla Island – Fishing Farm  (B,L,D)

Enjoy Breakfast at your hotel. Then visit to Lay-Kyun Island also known as Harris Island to enjoy water activities such as snorkeling and take a rest. We will enjoy our lunch in Harris Island. Then to the Thmee Hla Island is known as a home to fascinating turtles. Via Higyi Island you can go to Thameela Island in Ngapudaw Township by boat. Sea turtles mostly green turtle always-lay eggs on the island.

We will visit to Fishing Farm to observe the the diversity of marinelife. And we could learn the varity of species.

And transfer back to Myeik and to your hotel for a short rest. Enjoy your dinner.

Day 4: Departure Myeik (B,-,-)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Yangon.
